Medical equipment exhibition in Chennai
Chennai, Aug 7 (ANI): An annual medical equipment exhibition 'Medicall 2010' began is on here since Friday.ompanies from over 30 countries are displaying their medical equipments at the Chennai Trade Centre.
Medical equipments ranging from the latest large and small monitoring machines, imaging products, ambulances and various scanning systems were on display.
"Healthcare industry is a vast developing industry in India because everybody is becoming health conscious in our country. All over the world, it is becoming health conscious. Our equipment will also help our country to access their body in very short time, people will save the money," said Mahendra Biswas, Chairman and Managing Director of L D Technology.
Thousands of local and international buyers including hospital owners are expected to attend the Expo.
International manufacturers expressed the reason behind choosing the Indian market to sell their products.
"India is one of the growing market as Brazil as China and as Russia, so we believe that the government has started to invest a lot in the health system specially in order to decrease the mortality," said Cicero Schleder, an exhibitor from Brazil.
