Samsung launches in-built USB connector digicam

Seoul, Aug 6: Samsung launched new digital camera with a built-in USB connector which can be directly connected to computers.

The new 'PL90' point and shoot digital camera comes with a built-in USB connector that eliminates usage of any sort of micro-USB or mini-USB data cable.

PL90 has 12-megapixel digital camera and it can be connected to a PC directly for charging battery. It also has 4X optical zoom and 2.7-inch LCD display screen.

The in-camera modes include Smart Auto mode, motion-tracking autofocus and Perfect Portrait System.

The 'Perfect Portrait System' mode includes face detection, smile triggered shutter, blink detection and red-eye reduction.

The PL90 is expected to hit markets by Sep 2010. Details about the it's Indian availability and pricing are not out yet.
