No support for Modi in rescuing his friend: VHP
Ahmedabad, Aug 4: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and the Bajrang Dal did not offer support to Gujarat CM Narendra Modi in bid to rescue his close friend Amit Shah.
Khaleej Times reported that a VHP leader revealed they will not support Modi because he had been fighting elections in his own way and had deserted the Hindu organisations and now he is playing the tit-for-tat game.
On Jul 25 Amit shah had been sent for 14-day judicial custody after he surrendered himself before Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in Sohrabuddin fake encounter case. He was accused of of murder, abduction and extortion.
