UN chief's office denies remarks on Kashmir
New Delhi, Aug 3 (ANI): The United Nation Secretary General's office has clarified thatan Ki-moon had made no comment on security situation in Jammu and Kashmir and revival of composite dialogue with Pakistan.
The Government had sought a clarification from the office of the UN Secretary General through our Permanent Mission to the UN in New York, the ministry said here while referring to remarks attributed to Ban Ki-moon.
'The office of the UN secretary general has clarified that no such question was raised at (a) press conference nor was any such comment made by the UN secretary general,' the ministry said.
It was earlier reported in a section of the media that Ban is concerned over the prevailing security situation in "Indian-administered Kashmir. (ANI)
