B.C. Khatua appointed Chairman of Forward Markets Commission

New Delhi, Aug.2 (ANI): The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet here on Monday gave its approval for the appointment of B.C. Khatua, Indian Administration Services officer (of Maharashtra cadre, 1976 Batch) as Chairman of the Forward Markets Commission.

"The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Shri B.C. Khatua, IAS (MH:76) as Chairman, Forward Markets Commission, on re-employment on contract basis, on the existing terms and conditions, for a period of one year with effect from 1st August, 2010," an official release stated.
