Telangana by-polls: TRS sweeps 6 of 12 seats
Hyderabad, Jul 30: Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) has claimed six out of 12 constituencies that went into polling in Telangana by-elections 2010.
TRS has bagged Siddipet, Dharmapuri, Vemulawada, Chennur, Mancherial and Sirpur constituencies. Besides this, the party, that spearheaded the Telangana agitation, is leading in five other seats including Warangal West, Yellareddy, Huzurabad, Sircilla and Koratla.
Since ballot papers, instead of the electronic voting machines (EVM), were used in above mentioned constituencies the results are expected to take time.
