Haqqani calls for result-oriented India-Pak dialogue over Kashmir
Washington, July 30(ANI): Pakistan's Ambassador to the US, Hussain Haqqani, has urged India to enter into result-oriented talks with Islamabad for resolution of the Kashmir conflict.
"For us the most important thing is the rights of the Kashmiri people - we are committed to finding a resolution to the Kashmir dispute," The Daily Times quoted Haqqani, as saying.
"We look forward to a meaningful and result-oriented dialogue with India on Kashmir," he added.
He also said that Pakistan was serious about resolving the longstanding conflict, and expects reciprocity from New Delhi, as Islamabad wanted good relations with its neighbour.
Haqqani said this during the 11th international conference on Kashmir held at the Capitol Hill in Washington. (ANI)
