Delhi-bound JetLite flight suffers bird hit
Lucknow, Jul 28: A Delhi-bound JetLite flight was forced to abort take off here on Thursday, Jul 28 after it suffered a bird hit while taxiing on the runway.
An airline spokesperson said, flight S2138 with 144 passengers onboard was taxiing on the runway when it suffered a bird-hit at 7:20 am.
The take off was aborted and the Boeing 737 was returned to the bay, where engineers are inspecting the damage.
The spokesperson informed that all the passengers and the crew members were safe and the airline is accommodating all passengers in another flight.
