Apple launches Magic Trackpad and iMacs

California, Jul 28: Apple Inc launched new Magic Trackpad and updated iMacs.

The new Magic Trackpad is a multitouch input device for Mac desktops that allows users to enjoy the gesture control like scrolling, rotating and zooming. Users can also do three-finger swiping back and forth between Web pages.

The Magic Trackpad has a glass surface and an aluminum case.

The iMacs are updated with the latest Intel Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7 processors and powerful new graphics.

The new iMac line is regarded as the fastest ever with dual-core processor speeds up to 3.6 GHz, quad-core speeds up to 2.93 GHz and discrete graphics including the powerful ATI Radeon HD 5750.

“We took the world"s best all-in-one iMac and made it even better. With the latest processors, high-performance graphics and signature aluminum and glass design, customers are going to love the latest iMac," said Philip Schiller, Apple"s senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing.
