Satyam Scam: Hearing of charges posted to Jul 29

Hyderabad, Jul 26: The examination and hearing of charges of the ten accused in the multi-crore Satyam scam has been posted to Thursday, Jul 29.

The special court dealing with India's biggest corporate scam on Monday, Jul 26 adjourned the hearing in presence of nine of the ten accused.

The court said examination and hearing of charges would be taken up as per the law, which would commence on Jul 29

The main accused, the former chairman of Satyam Computers B Ramalinga Raju is the only one who is in judicial custody.

The XXI additional chief metropolitan magistrate (special court) also heard the discharge petitions filed by two accused Ch Srisailam and Suryanarayana Raju, brother of Ramalinga Raju and observed that the petition was not maintainable and unwarranted at this stage.
