Bus dips into river, 25 die in Kashmir

Srinagar, Jul 24: More than 25 people died when an overcrowded minibus slipped off a mountain road and dipped into a river in Kashmir.

The accident happened in Kishtiwar district, south of Srinagar on Friday, Jul 23. The bus dipped into the river Chenab and disappeared.

"Twenty-five people are dead, and two people were hospitalised after they jumped out of the bus," said a police spokesman.
