Amit Shah to appear in front of CBI
Gandhinagar, Jul 23: Amit Shah, Gujarat"s minister of state for Home will appear in front of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday, Jul 23.
On Thursday, July 22, CBI has asked him to appear before it by 1.00 pm on Friday, Jul 23 for questioning in connection with the Sohrabuddin Sheikh fake encounter case.
“During the course of investigation of Sohrabuddin and Kausarbi"s killings, it has been found that minister of state (home), government of Gujarat is acquainted with the circumstances of the case. He has been issued summons for the purpose of examination," said P Kandaswamy, Deputy inspector general, CBI, on Thursday, Jul 22.
It is unclear that whether the CBI would arrest him or not.
