20-year-old stabbed to death over honour

Lucknow, Jul 23: Mithun, 20-year-old, was stabbed to death in Uttar Pradesh in the name of Honour Killing.

The father and brother of the girl Anju, with whom Mithun was allegedly in love, had killed Mithun.

Lal Singh, the girl's father, had been arrested along with his son Rinku.

The duo admitted that they had killed Mithun, a graduation student, to safeguard the family's honour.

Police official said, "other relatives of the girl were also involved in the crime. Efforts are on to nab all those involved in the killing."

In spite of several questions and debates over honour killing, it had been spreading it's spell through all over India and nothing has been able to stop the crime in the name of honour.
