Women don't look after their car as well as men: UK study
Sydney, July (ANI): A new UK survey has revealed that women are less likely to wash their cars regularly than men.
The survey found that 56 per cent of women left their car unwashed for six months or longer, compared to 44 per cent of men.
More than half the men surveyed washed their cars at least once a month, while for women the figure was closer to one in three.
Women were almost twice as likely as men to have their cars washed by someone else, reports the Sydney Morning Herald.
Although the number of people using car washes was reasonably low for both sexes, with only 7 per cent of women and 4 per cent of men shunning the do-it-yourself wash.
The survey of 1000 motorists found that more than 10 per cent of drivers only washed their cars once a year, while a further 4 per cent claimed they didn't wash their cars at all.
