Special security for Naidu as Sena starts protest

Aurangabad, Jul 21: Now the Shiv Sena had made their entry into the Maharashtra-Naidu conflict over Babli dam project.

Shiv Sena and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) staged protests and shouted slogans against Naidu in Aurangabad on Tuesday, Jul 20.

Shiv Sena leader Arjun Khotkar and his activists staged protest and sported black flags at Naidu when he was shifted to the Harsul Jail in Aurangabad.

Shiv Sena and MNS leaders had warned of protests against Naidu, the former AP chief minister.

Police said that tight security arrangements had been made to control the situation for the protection of Naidu and other TDP leaders.

Naidu, however, was send to Hyderabad safely on Jul 20 in a special aircraft as Maharasgtra government had withdrawn all its charges against him.
