Maoists blasts landmine in West Bengal
Kolkata, Jul 21: Maoists blasted a landmine in Jhargram area of West Bengal.
The landmine was blasted on the road between Jhargram and Lodhashuli on Wednesday, Jul 21. No casualties were reported.
"The Maoists triggered the blast. They wanted to cut off Jhargram from rest of the area. Also, they wanted to kill innocent civilians. But they have not succeeded," said Zulfiqar Hassan, Inspector General, western range.
