JK fully prepared to tackle any situation: Omar
Srinagar, Jul 21: Jammu Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said that the state was passing through a 'very sensitive' phase and the perpetrators of violence do not want the state to prosper. He was talking to the party workers on Tuesday, Jul 20 night.
Omar said that the government was fully prepared to tackle any situation, battle against the evils from the enemies and achieve the goal of a prosperous and peaceful Kashmir.
The inhuman factors can never realize the pain and agony of poor Kashmiris whom they use for their vested interests. Innocent people are killed due to the mischievous and malafide activities, he said and asserted that the development works would continue with accelerated pace, despite the difficult plights in some parts of the valley. He asked the people to be part of the peace-achieving-process.
The enemies of peace want to destroy the tourism season and divide the three regions in the state on communal and regional lines. The tradition of 'Awami Mulakats' (public contact program) would be enhanced to reach out, evaluate and compensate the problems of the common people, he informed.
