Chaudhary, new spokesperson of Home Ministry
New Delhi, Jul 21: Dileep Raj S Chaudhary will be the new spokesperson of Home Ministry. He will take over on Monday, Jul 26.
Chaudhary, additional secretary (Naxal management) in the ministry, is currently abroad on work and will take on his new responsibility after he returns.
Chaudhary was appointed as spokesperson of the ministry of home affairs on Tuesday, Jul 20, close on the heels of Pillai's comments on the involvement of Pakistan's Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks.
Officials reported that Home Secretary G.K. Pillai will curtail his interactions with the media.
Chaudhary was a member of 1977 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) of Madhya Pradesh cadre. He has been cleared for a secretary level posting.
