Chaos in Bihar assembly; Oppn wants CM to quit
Patna, Jul 20: The Bihar Legislative Assembly turned into a battlefield on Tuesday, Jul 20 with ruling JD(U) party and the Opposition going head-on over alleged irregularities in welfare and development schemes.
Chaos took over the assembly as RJD, LJP and Congress members exchanged blows. The uproar was sparked off over the Patna High Court order for an inquiry by CBI into alleged irregularities in execution of development schemes.
The MLAs from the Opposition are also demanding the resignation of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
