West Bengal train mishap: Mamata smells sabotage?

Kolkata, Jul 19: Union Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee has expressed "some doubt" about the cause of the West Bengal train accident caused by the collision between Uttarbanga Express and Vananchal Express.

"I am suspicious about the cause of the accident," Didi said while talking to media personnel before proceeding towards the accident site.

"We have some doubt in our mind. Whatever happened is not casual thing. We will take all strong step against those who are behind this," she said.

This uncertain statement from the minister has raised the questions if Didi smells sabotage in connection with the accident which killed at least 49 people and injured over 150.

Sealdah-bound Uttarbanga Express crashed into Ranchi-bound Vananchal Express at Sainthia station in Birbhum district in the wee hours of Monday, Jul 19.
