Suicide bomber attack kills 36 in Baghdad
Baghdad, Jul 18: Thirty six people were killed and 28 injured in a suicide bomber attack in southwestern Baghdad.
The suicide bomber wearing an explosive belt targeted members of the security personnel the Sunni-dominated area of al-Radwaniya.
The security personnel were gathered to collect their salaries. These were the members of Sahwa, or Awakening Councils, are made up of former Sunni insurgents who have been supporting the government in its fight against al-Qaeda and helping restore order in the country.
