Major fire breaks in Connaught Place in Delhi

New Delhi, Jul 18: A major fire broke out in central Delhi.

The fire broke out at 11.15 am on Sunday, Jul 18 in the Baluja showroom in Connaught Place. The damage could not be ascertained yet. The cause of the fire also was not yet known.

"The fire is still on. We are trying to control it. Six fire tenders have been sent to douse the flames," said the official of the fire department.

"We can not say right now whether the fire was caused due to electrical short-circuit or any other reason," said the official.
