'Drug addict' son kills dad for refusing money
Imphal, Jul 17: A 'drug addict' son allegedly killed his father for refusing to give him money.
27-year-old Thangminlian stabbed his father, Kappau, who was a forest official, in Churachandpur district of Manipur, media reports said on Saturday, Jul 17.
Thangminlian, a student of law at Bangalore, reportedly asked his father for money on Thursday, Jul 15 night. Enraged by his father's refusal, the son stabbed his him in the chest.
Kappau was rushed to hospital, where he succumbed to injuries.
The 'killer' son is currently in police custody.
