Protest against adulterated vegetables in Uttar Pradesh
Lucknow, July 17 (ANI): The locals in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, protested against supply of adulterated vegetables, and sought stern action against the people involved in the racket.
"The price of vegetables is very high and the adulteration in vegetables is also there. So, we are protesting today against adulteration in vegetables," said Dhani Rao Bauddh, a protestor.
Protestors said the price of cereals and pulses are so high that a poor man cannot afford it and now if the vegetables also are adulterated, then what will a common man eat.
"The vegetables are being injected with chemicals, so we are protesting today that people involved in adulterating vegetables should be punished," said Vijay, a protestor. (ANI)
