Four NATO trucks torched in Quetta
Quetta (Balochistan), July 16 (ANI): Armed assailants torched four NATO supply trucks Bolan tehsil's Mach area here late on Thursday night.
According to reports, unidentified gunmen first opened indiscriminate fire on the NATO supply containers carrying oil and other goods, and later set them ablaze.
Fire tenders had a difficult time taming the fire, The New reports.
This was the second attack on NATO supply tankers enroute to Afghanistan in the region in a month.
In June, five oil tankers were targeted by extremists in the same area just days after nearly 60 containers were torched in Islamabad.
At least eight persons were killed and another six injured in the attack, which was carried out by over 30 unknown gunmen. (ANI)
