Sensex closes in green, TCS emerges as top gainer
Mumbai, Jul 16: At 4:25 hrs, BSE Sensex was 17955.82 up 46.36 points and NSE Nifty was 5393.90 up 15.15 points.
Shares of technology, telecom, realty, select oil & gas and financial companies gained profit in trading.
The top gainers were TCS up 6.59 percent, HCL Tech up 4.38 percent, Kotak Mahindra up 2.98 percent and Tata Motors up 2.83 percent.
The top losers were Mahindra and Mahindra down 2.00 percent, GAIL down 1.66 percent, Ambuia Cement down 1.23 percent and SAIL down 1.17 percent.

Nifty lighting green, heading towards 5400
At 02.30 hrs, BSE Sensex was 17957.39 up 47.93 points and NSE Nifty was 5397.40 up 18.65 points.
The technology, realty, financial and telecom companies' shares continue to make profit. Reliance Industries, HDFC, HDFC Bank, SAIL, GAIL, ITC, Tata Power, L&T, Power Grid, Ambuja Cements, Sun Pharma, M&M and Jindal Steel were facing loss in the market.
Nifty increased more than 17 points and heading towards 5400 points.
TCS leading the market with 6.94 percent up. The other active players were Tata Motors up 2.79 percent, ICICI Bank up 2.02 percent and Axis Bank up 0.86 percent.
The top gainers were TCS up 7.14 percent, HCL Tech up 3.75 percent, Tata Motors up 2.85 percent and Kotak Mahindra up 2.67 percent.
The top losers were Ambuia Cement down 1.91 percent, GAIL down 1.80 percent, Mahindra and Mahindra down 1.31 percent and HDFC Bank down 1.19 percent.

Trading strengthens, technology, telecom gains
12:25 Hrs At 10.15 hrs, BSE Sensex was 17933.41 up 23.95 points and NSE Nifty was 5387.30 up 8.55 points.
TCS emerged as the top gainer in the market with 5.66 percent up.
Other top gainers were HCL Tech up 3.31 percent, Kotak Mahindra up 2.04 percent, Tata Motors up 1.98 percent.
The most active companies were TCS up 5.68 percent, Tata Motors up 2.00 percent up, BPCL up 1.06 percent, Axis Bank up 0.37 percent.
The top losers were GAIL down 1.51 percent, Tata Power down 1.20 percent, HDFC Bank down 1.18 percent, HDFC down 1.08 percent.

Nifty started trading in red. Telecom and PSU oil & gas companies faced loss and but Technology and financial companies' shares gained profit.
At 10.15 hrs, BSE Sensex was 17940.32 up 27.68 points and NSE Nifty was 5388.50 up 9.75 points.
The most active in trading were TCS, BPCL, Tata Motors and Axis Bank.
The top gainers were TCS up 5.27 percent, HCL Tech up 2.61 percent, Kotak Mahindra up 1.69 percent and ICICI Bank up 1.69 percent.
The top losers were GAIL down 1.02, SAIL down 0.97 percent, ITC down 0.80 percent and HDFC Bank down 0.79 percent
