2 Indian brothers die in single engine plane crash

Washington, Jul 16: Two Indian brothers Kartik Kalaichelvan and Pratik Kalaichelvan, died in a plane crash in the US.

According to sources, the right wing of the 1964 Beechcraft Bonanza hit the ground, and the single-engine plane tumbled, killing two brothers and a fellow pilot.

Officials said the four-seat aircraft was registered to the pilot, 26-year-old Casey Brinegar. He died along with his friend and fellow pilot Kartik (22) and his brother Pratik (19).

Pratik, who was studying dentistry in Chennai, came to visit his brother and was scheduled to go back to India in a couple of days.

Both Casey and Kartik were pilot instructors at Skymates Flight College in Arlington, Texas. Both were showing Pratik Texas from the sky.

Casey and Kartik died on the scene and Pratik was taken to hospital where he later died.

Investigators are trying to find the cause of a plane crash.
