MIC man plans to sue committee member for defamation

Klang (Malaysia), July 14 (ANI): Selangor MIC information chief L. Siva Subramaniam plans to sue expelled central working committee member K.P. Samy for defamation.

The Star quoted him as saying that Samy had distributed videos, which showed Siva Subramaniam and his supporters involved in brawl at the recent Gerakan Anti-Samy Vellu (GAS) gathering to MIC members and the public.

"They have no right to do something like that. We were merely defending the MIC and were not aware that we were being recorded," Siva Subramaniam said. (ANI)
