Iran nuclear scientist leaves US for Tehran
Tehran, Jul 14: Iranian foreign ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast on Wednesday, Jul 14 told a news agency that the Iranian nuclear scientist Shahram Amiri is on his way home from US to Tehran.
"A few moments ago, Shahram Amiri left the US ... for Iran following efforts taken by the Islamic republic of Iran and the effective cooperation of the Pakistani embassy in Washington," Ramin Mehmanparast told ISNA news agency.
He added that the scientist first headed to another nation from where he continued to Iran. Mostafa Rahmani, the head of the Iran Interests Section in Washington saw him off in US.
