Indian student gunned down in US

Washington, Jul 14: An Indian student pursuing his masters in the United States was shot deat by unidentified assailiants on Monday, Jul 12 night.

The police officials probing into the incident, which took place at around 9.30 pm (local time) on Jul 12 at a grocery store at Bridgeport, Connecticut, suspect that it was a case of robbery.

Arun Kumar Narote hailed from Hyderbad and was pursuing MSc in software engineering. He worked part-time in the grocery shop in Connecticut where he was gunned down.
