Maoists release 9 kidnapped villagers in Bihar
Patna, Jul 13: Maoists freed nine out of 11 villagers whom they kidnapped from Bihar's Kaimur district, informed the authorities on Tuesday, Jul 13.
The operations to rescue the other two villagers who are still missing are going on, added them. The Special Task Force of the police aided by CRPF are searching the areas nearby for the missing duo.
A group of around 60 Maoists had attacked the villagers from Londa village in Kaimur district and kidnapped 11 among them on Saturday, Jul 10. The Naxals also took away their licensed firearms.
The officials said that the Naxals released three of the hostages on Monday, Jul 12 morning and another six in the evening.
