UP cabinet minister targeted in bomb attack

Allahabad, Jul 12: Uttar Pradesh cabinet minister, Nand Gopal Gupta was on Monday, Jul 12 targeted in a bomb attack here.

As per the latest inputs, the Minister for institutional finance has gone into a coma after sustaining serious injuries in the crude bomb explosion.

Three policemen were also injured in the bombing. The number of causalities is expected to rise.

Reports suggest that the minister was attacked when he was leaving his house in the morning.

The situation is Allahabad is tense following the incident and several shops have been shut.
