Is Facebook dying?

Washington, Jul 12: A New survey reported that social networking website Facebook is losing the number of new users.

The Wired News reported that Facebook has only 320,000 new US users in Jun 2010 where as in May 2010 Facebook got over 7.8 million new users from the US alone. The monthly growth data from Inside Facebook, which supplies these numbers, seems to indicate that the popular networking site may have reached its peak.

The report stated the reasons as the controversies over privacy policies and dominance. Facebook is the second most visited website, after Google.

Finally the report suggested that Facebook will have to look for more innovative ways of managing its users, and retain them.
