Property dealer's wife & son brutally killed

1. New Delhi, Jul 9: Pawan Nagia, a property dealer in Delhi found his wife and 6-year-old son dead at his residence West Patel Nagar, on Thursday, Jul 8.

The incident came into light when Pawan Nagia returned home around 3 am after partying with friends, and found the doors of his house open and his wife Anuradha and son Cherish lying in a pool of blood.

According to the police, the family had returned from a pilgrimage to Kedarnath only a day before. The attacker first strangulated them and then stabbed them with a sharp object several times. Both mother and son were found murdered in two different rooms.

"This is a case of double murder, the reason behind the murder may be the personal rivalry but not the robbery as the house was not looted," said a senior police official.

"Right now we have sent the bodies to the postmortem to check the time and cause of death," police said.
