Fans will love Andrew Garfield as Spiderman: Marc Webb

London, July 08 (ANI): American director Marc Webb is convinced that fans will love actor Andrew Garfield's portrayal of Peter Parker in the next Spiderman movie.

Garfield was declared the next Spiderman after Tobey Maguire quit the franchise earlier in 2010.

The Other Boleyn Girl star won the role after surpassing Jamie Bell and Josh Hutcherson.

Webb, who will be directing the next sequel of the Spiderman series, is persistent that studio bosses have made the right decision by signing up Garlfield.

"Though his name may be new to many, those who know this young actor's work understand his extraordinary talents," The Daily Express quoted Webb as saying.

"He has a rare combination of intelligence, wit and humanity.

Mark my words, you will love Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker," he added. (ANI)
