South Naval Command chief dies in firing at Kochi
Kochi, Jul 7: A naval officer was reportedly killed in an accidental firing incident here on Wednesday, Jul 7.
As per the latest reports, Southern Naval Command chief Rear Admiral SS Jamwal was killed in the firing incident at the Kochi (Cochin) naval base.
The officer apparently received a bullet to his head during a training session and died on the spot.
The authorities were quick to launch a probe into the incident.
