'Red spy' Anna Chapman's beau accused of raping, giving woman herpes

New York, July 7 (ANI): A New Jersey woman is accusing Michel Bittan, the wealthy boyfriend of alleged Russian spy Anna Chapman, of raping her and giving her herpes.

Bittan, 60, has been romancing the red-haired beauty, 28, for months while battling charges he's a sex predator.

"I never thought he would try to do anything sexual toward me. It came out the clear blue, absolutely," The New York Daily News quoted the 43-year-old accuser, as saying.

According to the woman, Bittan, a divorced dad and wealthy New Jersey restaurateur, raped her May 16, 2008, at his Englewood, N.J., mansion after getting her drunk and partying with her at a Manhattan nightclub.

She claims Bittan was showing her his house when he attacked her.

She said: "He pushed me on the bed from behind. I heard his pants drop."

The mother of two said her doctor examined her, confirming she had been raped, sodomized and had contracted herpes.

"It's bad enough being raped and sodomized, and then he give me herpes. I just wanted to die," the woman said.

The woman filed a civil suit against Bittan in Bergen Country Superior Court last July, charging the attack left her with permanent physical and mental injuries.

Bittan's lawyer, Barry Knopf, rubbished the woman's charges, countering she filed a lawsuit when Bittan turned down her request to back her business.

He said: "This matter was looked into by the prosecutor's office over two years ago." (ANI)
