ISI agent sent to 10 days police custody
Agartala, Jul 6: Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) agent was sent to ten days police custody by a Tripura court on Monday, Jul 5.
Suspected ISI agent Manir Khan alias Omar Ashraf and six others were arrested at late night on Saturday, Jul 3.
Manir Khan was presented in the court in Agartala, along with other accused, and charged with waging war against Indian government, violation of The Passports Act, collection of arms, conspiracy, cheating and violation of The Foreigners Act.
"The court after hearing the lawyers of both police and accused sent them to police custody, where senior intelligence officials would interrogate them to unearth the details," said a police official.
