Enjoy free Facebook access on Airtel
New Delhi, Jul 6: The largest cellular service provider in India, Bharti Airtel with more than 130 million subscriptions is now offering free access to online social networking site Facebook.
Airtel has entered into a partnership with Facebook to enable its 130 million subscribers to log on to Facebook's full mobile site at no data cost through their mobile.
"Now Airtel Customers will be able to access the Facebook's full mobile site more faster and by this offer we are providing our customers the best value for money services that enable their lifestyles," said Bharti Airtel CMO (Mobile Services) Shireesh Joshi.
“Our mobile customers will also be the first in the world to enjoy Facebook in five different vernacular languages," added Shireesh Joshi.
Apart from English and Hindi, the face book site is also available in five other Indian languages like Punjabi, Bengali, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam.
However this offer will be available only for two months till Aug 31.
In order to take the advantage of this offer Airtel customers can SMS 'FACEBOOK" to 54321.
