Cross border firing in JK, BSF jawan killed

Jammu, Jul 6: A BSF jawan was killed in Jammu border on Jul 6, in cross border firing at India-Pakistan border.

Once again violating the ceasefire, Pakistani troops fired at a forward Indian border outpost along the border in Jammu.

Pakistani troops fired at the Chak Sagwari border outpost in Paragwal sector, 20 kms from Jammu.

Sultan Ali, a BSF jawan, was killed in the firing.

Indian army guarding the border struck back and the firing ended in the early morning on Jul 6.

There are many instances, which show that this is not the first time that Pakistani troops violated the ceasefire this year 2010.

Pakistani troops had last violated the ceasefire on Jun 21 when they fired at a forward outpost along the International Border (IB) in Jammu where the BSF foiled an infiltration bid by militants.
