Kolkata, Jul 5: Though the Left parties and the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) have issued separate calls for Bharath Bandh which lasts for twelve hours on Monday, Jul 5, Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee ruled out the rollback on the fuel price hike.
Mukherjee termed the bandh, slamming it as the 'cheap and opportunistic politics at the cost of the nation'. He also reiterated that there is no question of fuel price rollback. He was addressing a conference organised by the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India.
Pranab Mukherjee said that it was up to the parties to decide their methods of protest.
