15 dead in Philippine bus crash
Cebu, Jul 4: Fifteen people were killed and around 48 people got injured in a bus crash in Philippines. The speeding bus slammed into a concrete fence in the central Philippines, informed police on Sunday, Jul 4.
The accident happened on Saturday, Jul 4 outside of central Cebu city. This is the second deadly road accident in this area, in less than a month.
Police chief Erson Digan informed that fifteen people were killed and 48 others were injured in the accident. He added that the brakes of the bus failed while it was going downhill and the driver rammed the bus into the concrete fence to avoid hitting the pedestrians.
In another bus accident, 21 Iranian medical students and tourists were killed as the bus plunged into a deep valley.
