Case against leading actress M Vijayashanti

Hyderabad, Jul 2: Actor-turned-politician M Vijayashanti of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) is in big trouble. Now she in lime light for making inflammatory remarks.

Andhra police has registered a case against MP Vijayashanti for promoting enmity and hatred between classes while addressing a party workers election meeting at the TRS office on Wednesday, Jun 30.

She had reportedly asked the Telangana supporters to “chop down the foes of Telangana."

Police went to the residence of Vijayashanti but she was not present in her house, Banjara Hills police told a news agency.

M Vijayashanti started her political career in 1997 and now is elected MP from the Medak constituency in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
