Raman Singh condemns Naxals attack in Narayanpur
Jharkhand, Jun 30: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh said the sacrifices of 26 CRPF jawans, who were shot dead by Naxals in Narayanpur district, will not go in vain.
CM Raman Singh held a high-level meeting in Raipur to assess the situation arising out of Tuesday, Jun 29 Naxal attack in Narayanpur district on Wednesday, Jun 30. He strongly condemned the Naxal attack.
"The security personnel have laid down their lives to free the people from Naxal terror. Their sacrifice will not go in vain," said CM.
"The Naxals have carried out a cowardly act. People and groups having faith in human rights should condemn this act of murder in once voice," he added, vowing to end the Maoist menace in the state.
CM also included, "the extremists lack moral courage to engage in a direct fight with our brave security forces."
He conveyed his heart-felt condolence to the families of the martyred jawans.
Home minister Nankiram Kanwar, DG, CRPF, Mr Vikram Srivastav and representatives of the Union Home Ministry are also attending the emergency meeting on Jun 30, to take stock of the situation.
