PM calls high official meeting on Kashmir issue
New Delhi Jun 30: PM Manmohan Singh called a high level official meeting on Jun 30th evening to discuss the situation in Kashmir.
Kashmir has been on the boil for the last four days due to protests over killings of youth in alleged CRPF firing.
The Union Home Minister P Chidambaram and National Security Advisor Shiv Shankar Menon will attend the meeting.
The meeting will discuss the intelligence reports suggesting that certain elements from Pakistan were trying to promote trouble in the valley.
Senior officials of Union Home ministry, Prime Minister's Office and other security agencies are also likely to attend the meeting.
