Russian secret agents arrested in US

Washington, Jun 29: Ten Russian secret agents were arrested in United States on charges of spying for Russia on Sunday and Monday, Jun 27 and 28. The espionages were arrested from Boston, New York, New Jersey and Virginia.

The espionages got arrested on Sunday and Monday, Jun 27 and 28 as the group called 'Illegals' was appointed by the Russian intelligence agency SVR to carry out spying activities in United States, by entering the state with false identities.

Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) informed in its compaint filed before a US court that these secret agents worked to hide all connections between themselves and Russia.

The espionages will receive extensive training before coming to US. The training has been focused on several things including short-wave radio operation, invisible writing, use of brush-passes and use of codes and ciphers including use of encrypted Morse corde messages. They were also trained for counter-surveilance measures and concealment and destruction of equipments, alleged FBI.

FBI said that the arrests are a result of multi-year investigations.
