Honour killing continues, youth found dead in UP
Muzzaffarnagar, Jun 29: A youth was found dead in Jalalabad town of Muzaffarnagar district, in Uttar Pradesh.
Mohammed sabir, 30, was found murdered with his throat slit on Monday, Jun 29.
Police suspects the case to be an honour killing. Police suspects that Sabir was killed by his girlfriend's brother Asas Mohammed and his aid Imran, said SP Rajesh Kumar, the Deputy Superintendent of police. The girl's family was against their affair and had threatened the couple with dire consequences.
Police arrested and taken both Asas and Imran into custody.
A couple who got married denying their family has sought police protection on Monday, Jun 28. They have been provided security as they feard that they may be killed by their relatives, said the police.
