Joe Biden calls shop manager 'smartass' after taxes comment
Washington, June 28 (ANI): US Vice President Joe Biden has called the manager of a custard shop a "smartass" after the man asked him to lower taxes.
Biden made the remark after the Kopp's Frozen Custard shop manager told him that his dessert would be on the house if he lowered taxes.
"What do we owe you?" Fox.com quoted Biden saying in a footage captured by WISN-TV.
"Don't worry, it's on us. Lower our taxes and we'll call it [the custard] even," the manager replied.
And a few minutes later, Biden said: "Why don't you say something nice instead of being a smartass all the time?"
Biden had reportedly been to the Kopp's mistakenly asking for ice cream instead of custard.
However, the manager said that he thought Biden looked unhappy initially about the taxes comment, but the vice president later said that he was just kidding. (ANI)
