Mumbai attack: Pak ready to give voice samples
Islamabad, Jun 27: Pakistan flagged green signal that it is ready to provide the voice samples of 26/11 attackers to India. Pakistan Interior Minister Rehman Malik declared that the two countries would be working together to prevent the terror attaks like that in Mumbai. He suggested that Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) of Pakistan and CBI to work together on the issue of terrorism, including on the Mumbai terror attack case.
"We will like our FIA and CBI to interact with each other in matters of terrorism including the Mumbai attacks," Malik said.He also offered any kind of cooperation to India.
Rehman Malik told media that Pakistan will provide every possible assistance to India, in addition to the voice samples of the handlers who have been identified in the data given by Indian investigators to be matched with the recordings of the conversation the Mumbai attackers had with them.
"We (Chidambaram and Malik) are both against the acts of terrorism and we will work together to clear this menace in this region," said Malik.
P Chidambaram also said that all the masterminds and handlers behind 26/11 must be brought justice, after the meet with Malik.
