Sushil Modi joins Nitish's 'Viswas Yatra'
Patna, Jun 25: Sushil Modi, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and BJP leader joined Nitish Kumar, Bihar Chief Minister in his Viswas Yatra to Gaya district on Friday, Jun 25 signalling a patch-up in the BJP-JD(U) rapports.
Both the leaders arrived Patna airship sheds in separate vehicles, but boarded the same helicopter for Aurangabad. They were seen exchanging pleasantries before boarding the chopper. They declined to take questions on the soured alliance between JD(U) and BJP.
Modi had declared his decision not to join the journey at Paliganj in Patna district earlier, protesting Kumar's decision to return Kosi flood relief provided by Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi.
BJP had frequent meetings with the ministers of the party including the main leaders from Bihar, to discuss the alliance with JD(U).
